Eyebags?

I am a big fan of bags! Prada, Gucci, Chanel, you name it, i love it. But there’s one kind of bag that I never really wanted – eyebags! Eeep!

When I was a student, I used to have these droopy eyes and dark circles; sometimes I went to school wearing sunglasses. I wasn’t really conscious about it at first, but later on in life, I got tired seeing those bags in front of the mirror.

So, I did some searching on the net and sent those bags away! Did you know that the areas around our eyes are some of the most delicate parts of the body? Thus, our eyes need extra care and maintenance.

Here are some of the tips and info that we need to know to let go of our “excess baggages”:

Drink lots of water everyday (8-10 glasses a day at least)

Get enough sleep (sleeping at night is always the best)

Don’t rub the eyes too much
(this can irritate the skin)

Take vitamins and eat healthy food
Cut down caffeine and sodium (these cause water retention, leading to puffy eyes)

Use a good concealer and powder for make-up. Look for a concealer that is 1-2 shades lighter than your skin tone. For this to look natural, put a thin layer of pressed/loose powder over the concealer. It will emphasize your skin tone and mask blotchy areas.

The key here is to not overdo it. Try experimenting with a light layer first, before a thicker application. Hope this helps!
